The new Miss Earth Bahamas 2010 winner was crowned at the Rainforest Theatre in Nassau August 8, 2010 – Sunday night. She is a 24 year old graduate of AC College in Atlanta Georgia and stands 5′ 10″ in height. Her advantage to winning as Miss Earth 2010 is her being a pageant veteran despite a young age.Aquelle has won numerous beauty pageants being a runner-up in Miss Teen Bahamas. She also got the 4th runner-up in Miss Bahamas Universe in 2006. Last year in 2009, she made it to the Top 8 in the Miss Universe beauty pageant and represented the Bahamas at Miss Caribe Hibiscus in St. Maarten. Aquelle ia also a former Miss Commonwealth Bahamas who won the Miss Commonwealth Bahamas International contest in London were she competed with over 100 candidates / contestants. Up on her 3rd attempt, she finally won Miss Bahamas this year.
